Welcome to Warringtons of Warwick

Warringtons of Warwick was founded and built by Ray Warrington, and has gone on to become one of the longest standing family-run businesses in Warwick. We are proud of the legacy Ray has built from humble beginnings, and his passion remains at the very heart of every service we conduct.

It's a family affair

1971

Warringtons was founded in the family garage in Laburnum Grove, Warwick in 1969. Soon outgrowing this space, Ray bought a plot of land and built Warringtons of Warwick himself

1979

By 1978 he had become one of the first garages in the area to comply with the new MOT Testing Laws and extended building to accomodate more ramps and employ more people.

1983

In 1982 dditional premises were taken in Scar Bank creating a Bosch Service Agency for fine tuning and petrol injection .

1985

In 1985 disaster struck when a vehicle caught fire whilst a mechanic was repairing it. We were very fortunate that no one was injured and was able to keep running form the other premises.

Celebrated 50 years of business

2023

Ray sadly died in December 2023 - He died at the end of a wonderful year, one that saw Ray turn 80, celebrated his and Gail's 60th Wedding anniversary - recieving a letter from the King. Met his first great grandaughter, which was an addition to his 3 great grandsons.

Servicing Our Community.

The team at Warringtons of Warwick are always keen to help out in our community, and over the years have supported many local charities and fundraising events. We are excited to announce that we are now supporting Myton Hospice and Warwickshire Search and Rescue as our chosen charities for the future. Myton Hospice was a favoured charity for our founder, Ray Warrington, and we know the hospice has helped so many of our customers over the years in respite care and providing end of life care.

We have been proud sponsors of Warwick Town Bonfire, Warwick Racing Club, and Warwick’s Football Club. It is always our pleasure to give back to the people who have supported us and helped our small family business grow into something we’re excited to run every day.
